PREFACE

In preparation for writing this presentation, I have read many books and studied many church and individuals interpretations as to when Christ gathers His elect, when and if He offers special protection for His chosen people, and when and where end time events, as described in prophecy, take place. I have come to the conclusion that there are perhaps many thousands of different interpretations in all the religions of record, as well as positions taken by individuals, regarding just what happens before, during, and after Daniel’s seventieth week, and how, and in what way it involved those still living on earth during that period of time. Many refer to this period as the tribulation period, or ‘end time events’. All those who wrote and taught about end time happenings must have believed with complete confidence that their interpretation was the correct one or they would not have taken a position to defend. Most writers and teachers simply ‘parroted’ those who taught them. Many writers on eschatology have come up with some of the most unbelievable interpretations imaginable, making one question if we were all using the same scripture.

Let me tell you upfront, that I do not claim everything I have written on the following pages is without question just exactly how it will all eventually take place, even though I personally believe it is very close to what God the Father and His Son Jesus prophesied. No human being that has ever lived on this earth has had the ability to claim perfection in his or her interpretation of prophecy, even though many think they can. Not even His Son Jesus, nor the Angels, knows the exact timing of when all these prophesied events will occur. Only God the Father knows! However, great care has been taken that almost every position and conclusion on the pages that follow is backed up with one or more defining scripture passages. By using only the scripture passages you are referred to, the following would seem to be a very close description of how earth’s future events will unfold. All the end time events will unfold only, and exactly, as God has already predetermined, not how I or anyone else THINKS they will unfold. Remember that!

God the Father gave quite detailed information and timing to His Old Testament prophets, to His Son Jesus in the New Testament, and to His Apostles, as to generally just what is going to happen before, during and after Daniel’s seventieth week. The basic information as written in the Old and New Testaments is generally quite clear as to what and where and when all these events take place, but there are ‘many millions of missing details’ that we were never told about in prophecy. When one endeavors to conclude what he thinks these missing details are, or just what God really was trying to tell us, or what He really meant in what He did tell us and claim them all as fact, is how all of the different interpretations emerge.

You might ask, does it really matter to the Church of today, the New Testament elect, if we are generally told we will be caught up, gathered, before these seven years takes place, or if others tell us it could happen during or at the end of the seven years? For all those who have died since Christ established His Church, it will make no difference what they were taught or believed, nor will it make any difference to those who die from this date forward until the seven years starts, unless they propagated an incorrect teaching for which they will have to answer to God the Father. For all those who have already died, their eternal destination is in God’s hands. But positively, there will be one generation that must live through these seven years, whenever it starts, and it will make a tremendous difference to them whether or not they were intentionally or unintentionally misled. We all truly believe that God the Father is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If this is correct (and it is), and if in the past two thousand years God allowed many hundreds of millions of His precious elect, the bride of Jesus, to be martyred (killed) because they believed in the name of Jesus (which God is still allowing today), or if He allowed the lives of many millions of Jews throughout history to be terminated simply because they were Jews (God’s chosen people), how can man change God’s character now and say God is ‘too loving’ a God to allow the current (or future) living elect, the bride of Jesus, to go through a portion of Daniel’s seventieth week? After reading this presentation, you should come to your own conclusion as to what you choose to believe concerning the timing of His gathering, or ‘rapture’.

Most Christians today believe that if their church constitution says, or they are taught in their church, that Christ is going to gather, or rapture, the ‘sleeping’ and living elect before the beginning of the seven years, then this concept is the true and correct biblical ‘doctrine.’ Let me assure you, that for His elect, the scriptural doctrine regarding the return of Christ for the rapture as taught in prophecy, is ‘that He positively is coming to gather together, rapture, the elect at some predetermined date set by and known only by God the Father Himself.’ As to concluding that the date is pretribulational or any other date is simply man’s attempt to fill in the ‘millions of missing details’ mentioned above. There is not one verse of scripture that specifically says the ‘rapture’ will occur before Daniel’s seven years begins, or that it is imminent and can occur at any second. So how can I be so sure that what I am concluding in this presentation must be close to the correct interpretation? Because it was Jesus Himself that informed His disciples when the exact time would be, in conjunction with and in relation to other occurring events, for His gathering (rapture) of the elect. (Matthew 24:30-31, 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn; and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect, from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.) The double use of the word then in the above two verses implies that this gathering together (rapture) can only occur after the many prophecies which Jesus made in verses 4-29 have been fulfilled. It was on a Monday evening that Jesus prophesied all these things to His disciples on the Mount of Olives just three days before He was crucified. This great rapture event immediately precedes the slaughter by Jesus of tens of millions of ‘the surrounding nations’ armies in the Valley of Jehoshaphat, just east of Jerusalem, as described in Battle Two. I believe the precise timing of these two events is confirmed in Revelation 14:14-20. (Revelation 14:14-20, 14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat one like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. 17 Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth for her grapes are fully ripe.” 19 So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs., explained in detail in XVII Revelation 14, and Blood Flowing 184 Miles?) These events are described in great detail on the pages that follow.

Just when is the last time you heard a message giving the details of the ‘end times’? Some churches teach about end time events, whatever their convictions might be, with some degree of regularity, but the large majority of churches never ever approach the subject because it is far too controversial, complicated, and misunderstood, and pastors and teachers would just rather not get involved. Did you know that even the Catholic Church does not allow their priests and teachers to lecture on this subject, because the Magisterium has not been able to conclude after 2000 years just what their Bible actually teaches and what their correct position should be? However, some Priests on their own, and without the blessing of the Church, do write about the subject. As you read through this presentation, do not be afraid to study it thoroughly, read all the references over and over, get involved, and with the help of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, arrive at your own conclusions as to what you truly believe the Bible actually teaches about end time events. Ask for Their direction to help you clearly understand all Biblical prophecy so that you and those you share it with will be better prepared for those end times. Read what the Apostle John wrote in Revelation 1:1-3, and especially verse 3. (Revelation 1:1-3 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.)
